Garbage Collection

Garbage pick-up will be suspended on Thursday, November 28, 2024, in observance of Thanksgiving and will resume on Friday, November 29, 2024.

St. John Parish Thanksgiving Baskets

In the spirit of giving, Parish President Hotard, Administration and staff along with the Council Office, Assessor’s Office, Clerk of Court, and Registrar of Voters, came together to assemble and distribute Thanksgiving baskets to local families.

2024 Bonfire Permits

Permits are now available at the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in LaPlace and can be obtained through Thursday, December 12, 2024. The EOC is located at 1801 W. Airline Hwy., LaPlace, and is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
