Parish President Hotard Announces $1 million Grant Award from NRCS for Canal Cleaning

Parish President Jaclyn Hotard is pleased to announce the start of a federal and state canal cleaning project funded through the National Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).

The project consists of cleaning the following canals: Hope-Garyville, Trosclair, Teboe, Lasseigne, Montz, and River Forest.

Work is anticipated to begin after Labor Day and will be completed in approximately 45 days.
