Parish President Hotard and the Emergency Operations Center are closely monitoring heavy rainfall and potential tropical weather associated with Invest 93-L.
Monitoring the Tropics: There is still a medium potential for tropical development in the Gulf this week, but the National Weather Service is forecasting 3" to 5" of rainfall through Sunday regardless. A Flood Watch has been issued from 1 p.m. Wednesday until 1 a.m. Saturday for our area.
