Parish President Hotard Kicks Off Mardi Gras with Local Krewes

Parish President Hotard welcomed the Krewe of Agape, Krewe of Allovus, Krewe of Dage’ and Krewe of Towahpahsah to kick of Carnival Season.

 

“Mardi Gras is a beloved tradition in our community, and from balls, to parades, to house parties, we love to celebrate together,"
said Parish President Hotard.

 

As is tradition holds, the annual parades in St. John will roll the weekend before Mardi Gras. The Krewe of Towahpahsah Parade will roll at noon, Saturday, February 10th, 2024, in Reserve, and the Krewe of Dage' Parade will roll at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, February 11th, 2024, in LaPlace.
