St. John Parish Recognized Nationally for Award-Winning Programs
 
St. John the Baptist Parish- Parish President Jaclyn Hotard is proud to announce that St. John the Baptist Parish has earned multiple 2025 National Achievement Awards from the National Association of Counties (NACo)
The NACo Achievement Awards honor effective, forward-thinking programs that improve services and strengthen communities.

 

St. John was recognized for the following initiatives:

 

Senior Citizens Food Program (Community Services Department)
 
FEMA Home Elevation Program (Grants Department)

 

Community Rating System (CRS) Program (Planning & Zoning Department)

 

Andouille Festival Greener Grounds Recycling Initiative (Economic Development Department)
 
Water Improvements Program (Utilities Department)

 

Wastewater Treatment Consolidation (Utilities Department)
 
“These awards reflect the hard work and dedication of our staff, department leaders, and community partners,” said President Hotard. “I’m proud of the progress we continue to make together to improve quality of life for our residents.”
