A Cleaner St. John Starts With Us!

St. John the Baptist Parish welcomed volunteers from across the community for its “Team Up to Clean Up” event, held as part of Love the Boot Week. The initiative brought residents together with a shared goal to help keep the parish clean, beautiful, and environmentally responsible. Volunteers of all ages participated in the cleanup effort, collecting litter and debris from roadways, public spaces, and neighborhoods throughout the parish. The event highlighted the importance of community involvement and environmental stewardship, while reinforcing pride in St. John the Baptist Parish. 

The “Team Up to Clean Up” event is part of a broader effort to promote sustainability and encourage residents to take an active role in maintaining the parish’s natural beauty. Parish leaders encourage residents to continue these efforts year-round by properly disposing of waste, recycling, and participating in future community cleanup initiatives.
