St. John Parish Honors Local Heroes at 21st Annual Veterans Luncheon

Parish President Jaclyn Hotard joined Council Members, parish staff, and local, state, and federal leaders in welcoming hundreds of veterans and their families to the 21st Annual Veterans Luncheon at REGALA Gym in Reserve.

Held each year as part of St. John the Baptist Parish's Independence Day celebration, the luncheon honors the men and women whose service and sacrifice have helped preserve the freedoms we celebrate.

Guests enjoyed a patriotic program featuring a heartfelt tribute to our nation's veterans, inspiring musical performances, and remarks recognizing the courage, commitment, and legacy of those who have served.

Each veteran also received a commemorative pin representing their branch of military service as a small token of the Parish's gratitude.

"We don't just gather to say thank you - we come together to honor the men and women who have dedicated themselves to serving our country," said Parish President Jaclyn Hotard. "Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment continue to inspire us all. On behalf of St. John the Baptist Parish, thank you for your service.”
