Road Work near Beech and Palm Streets will continue through Monday, August 4, 2025. Intermediate road closures in this area are expected through the duration of the work.

River Road at Henderson St. in Reserve will remain fully closed until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 (weather permitting) due to ongoing work on the Globalplex access bridge.

Parish President Hotard and Sheriff Tregre Cut Ribbon on West Bank Public Safety Complex

Parish President Hotard and Administration, Fire Department and Public Safety, joined Sheriff Tregre and staff, as well as a host of community officials and residents for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony today to commemorate the completion of the West Bank Public Safety Complex in Wallace.

This $2 million complex is a shared project between the Sheriff’s Office and Fire Department and will help increase fire and police presence on the West Bank.

“This facility is another place for our first responders to work from to provide additional, critical services to the West Bank,” said Parish President Hotard. “We are truly excited about the completion of this project and thank all involved.”
