Parish President Hotard and the Emergency Operations Center are closely monitoring heavy rainfall and potential tropical weather associated with Invest 93-L. The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for our area through Saturday, with 3 to 5 inches of rain forecast during this period, beginning as early as today. Locally higher amounts of up to 10 inches are possible. Sandbags will be available today, Wednesday, July 16, 2025, beginning at NOON at the following locations:
